This is a good example of Psychopyge elegans from the Devonian of Morocco. The specimen has been prepared with free-standing genal spines. The long occipital spine at the rear of the cephalon and the many vertical thoracic spines are also free-standing. The trilobite has good color and contrast. The bug is nicely centered in the middle of the matrix block. The eye facets are easily seen and the long anterior process (snout) is real. This is a very affordable example of this spiny trilobite from Morocco.
