This is an excellent association fossil from the Middle Devonian of New York. This specimen was found years ago at the famous Penn-Dixie Quarry. There are three examples of Phacops rana rana on the plate - one outstretched, one enrolled, and one cephalon. The trilobites are inflated and exhibit fine detail. There is also a beautiful Mucrospirifer mucronatus brachiopod on the plate, and a Stereolasma rectum horn coral touching the enrolled Phacops! The fossils contrast strikingly with the light grey matrix. The specimens are wonderfully showcased on the squared matrix plate. This is a very collectible plate of three different fossils from Devonian sea floor of New York.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
