This is a very rare European trilobite. It is a complete Proetus cf. granulatus from Gotland, Sweden. This classic European locality is under water - trilobite finds are extremely rare. This excellent specimen is fully enrolled - almost all of the trilobites found at this locality are incomplete. The bug has a striking, natural chocolate-brown exoskeleton - beautiful! And it much better than the photo shows! This is a complete example of a very rare Silurian trilobite from Sweden.
