This is a nice trilobite double. It is a pair of Calymene clavicula from Oklahoma. This specimen was found by Steve Hess in 1999, and was just now prepared. Although one specimen is more complete than the other, they were preserved very close together - they are actually touching. The larger specimen is complete and has the free cheeks intact and tight. Except for a small section between the two trilobites, the bugs are fully free of matrix. This is a very fine offering of these collectible Silurian trilobites.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
