Here is a complete example of Cornuproetus cornutus from the Devonian of Morocco. This trilobite was recently acquired in an old collection. The bug is quite prone and exhibits fine detail. The long, sweeping genal spines are beautifully displayed, and the small, close-set eyes are easily seen. The natural black color of the bug contrasts beautifully with the grey matrix. The fossil is well presented on the block of dense limestone. This is a very nice specimen of Cornuproetus from the Atlas Mountains.
