This is a very nice Mississippian trilobite. It is a fine Ameropiltonia lauradanae from the Choteau Formation of Missouri. As everyone knows, complete Carboniferous trilobites are quite rare. This bug is very inflated and well preserved. The fossil is extremely prone, has great color and contrast, and is well centered on the large matrix plate. This is a very nice example of an Ameropiltonia trilobite.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
