Here is a beautiful example of Hemirhodon amplipyge from the Middle Cambrian of Utah. Specimens of this trilobite with free cheeks are highly uncommon. This colorful bug is wonderfully articulated and exhibits great detail - the impression of the hypostoma (mouthplate) is even well displayed. The trilobite is well centered on the very large block of limestone. This is a beautiful display example of an extremely rare Hemirhodon amplipyge from Utah.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
