Here is a rare trilobite. This is Ceraurinus marginatus from the Ordovician of Canada. This trilobite is complete and nicely articulated - the cephalon, thorax, and pygidium are all present. The bug is inflated and exhibits fine detail. The short genal spines are nicely displayed and the pygidial spines of differing lengths are intact. The trilobite has good color and contrast (much better than what the picture shows) and is presented on the natural plate of matrix. This is an unusual, complete example of a highly uncommon trilobite from Canada.
