This is a very nice Odontopleura (Sinespinaspis) markhami from the Lower Silurian of Australia. This specimen has BOTH of its free cheeks intact, which is very unusual for this type. The detail of the exoskeleton is amazing - this bug has several rows of fine pustules on the thoracic segments along with tiny pleural and pygidial spines. The fossil has good color and contrast and is well showcased on the large, rectangular plate of matrix. This is a beautiful example of this Silurian Odontopleurid trilobite from Down Under.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
