Here is a fantastic display specimen of Gerastos granulosus from the Devonian of Morocco. Both of the trilobites are complete and very 3-dimensional - there has been no compositing done to this wonderful piece. The trilobites are prone and nicely articulated. The bugs have heavy, thick exoskeleton and exhibit fine detail. The large, bulbous glabellas display the fine granulation typical of this species. The eyes of the trilobites are easily seen. The trilobites have excellent color and contrast and are well positioned on the sculpted block of limestone. This is a very nice and collectible specimen of Gerastos granulosus, prepared in-house by EXTINCTIONS.
