This is a fabulous example of a very unusual Lower Cambrian trilobite. It is a TRUE Resserops sp. from South Morocco. This type is extremely rare, especially fully articulated. This specimen has both free cheeks present, with the long genal spines intact. The trilobite also has huge eyes, giving the bug its unusual look. The natural coloration contrasts beautifully with the light-colored matrix. And this is a RARE split pair - both halves are included here. This is one trilobite you do not see everyday, especially in this high quality and completeness.
