This is a fabulous double example of a rare trilobite. It is a pair of Phacops rana norwoodensis from Iowa. This specimen came directly from a major trilobite collector. There is one outstretched and one enrolled trilobite on the plate. The trilobites are very inflated and 3-D. The distinct bugs have a beautiful brown-colored exoskeleton and great detail preserved. The trilobites are well displayed on the natural block of limestone - both are natural to the plate, not composited. This is a rare multiple plate of very hard-to-find US trilobites.
