Here is a rare Canadian trilobite. This is Ceraurinus marginatus from the Ordovician Layers of Ontario. Ceraurinus are much more uncommon than Ceraurus from these layers. This specimen came to us from a major trilobite collection. It is complete and nicely articulated - aesthetically prone and outstretched. The bug is inflated and exhibits nice detail. The trilobite has good color and contrast, and is well-presented on the rectangular plate of natural, unbroken matrix. This is a fine example of this highly unusual trilobite from a closed locality.
