This is an extremely rare multiple plate of Mississippian trilobites. These are Ameropiltonia lauradanae from the Mississippian of Missouri. There are three complete, prone examples, one enrolled specimen, and a disarticulated bug - FIVE trilobites in all!. The bugs are very well preserved - the brown color of the trilobites contrasts wonderfully with the light-colored matrix. The trilobites are well showcased on the large limestone plate. This is an extremely rare plate of FIVE highly uncommon trilobites from the Mississippian.
