This is an extremely rare UK trilobite. It is a beautiful Dalmanites myops from the Silurian of Dudley, England. Silurian trilobites from Dudley are among the most sought-after trilobites for collectors, and this fine specimen was recently acquired from the famous John Page Collection. This trilobite has a semicircular cephalon with excellent genal spines. The fossil is quite inflated and beautifully outstretched. The detail of the trilobite is excellent - the long tailspine displays beautifully.
