This is a very rare Trinucleid trilobite. It is a complete Parkesolithus gradyi from New South Wales, Australia. This specimen was collected in the 1980's. This type of trilobite is known for the unusual pitted fringe that encircles the front of the trilobite. This specimen has this feature present. The bug's detail is quite nice. This is a split pair fossil - the part and counterpart are both intact and offered together. This is a very distinct example of this rare, fringed trilobite from Australia.
