This is a well preserved specimen of a stalk-eyed trilobite from the Ordovician of Russia. This is the classic Asaphus (Neoasaphus) kowalewskii. Up until a few years ago, trilobites with this type of stalked eyes were basically unheard of. This prone trilobite is well-inflated and contrasts nicely with the cream-colored matrix. This is a large example of a periscope-eyed trilobite from Russia.
