Here is a very aesthetic specimen of Zlichovaspis rugosa from the Devonian of Morocco. This large trilobite is complete and wonderfully articulated. The bug is preserved in a 3-dimensional manner and exhibits great detail. The large, orange, crescent-shaped eyes are easily seen - many of the individual lenses are clearly defined. The long, broad genal spines and the short caudal spine are nicely displayed. The fossil has excellent, natural coloration that contrasts beautifully with the light-colored matrix. The trilobite is well showcased on the large, sculpted block of limestone. This is a very fine example of Zlichovaspis rugosa from Morocco.
