Here is a very famous Canadian trilobite. This is Ogygopsis klotzi from the Cambrian of BC, Canada. This wonderful specimen was recently acquired from the famous DeRosear Collection. This specimen is from the trilobite locality that is very close to the famous Burgess Shale, and is of the same age. This outstretched trilobite is very well articulated and quite detailed. The fossil contrasts very well with the grey matrix. And, best of all, the trilobite is almost four inches long!. This is a very collectible BC trilobite from the DeRosear Collection.
