This is a large specimen of Olenellus chiefensis from the Lower Cambrian of Nevada. This fossil was found years ago an just now prepared. The long, crescent-shaped eyes of the trilobite are quite visible, and the detail on the body of the trilobite is quite nice. The bug has natural, brown coloration, which contrasts with the light-colored matrix. And, best of all, there is no restoration to this fossil whatsoever. This is an affordable specimen of Olenellus chiefensis from Nevada.
