Here is an excellent specimen of an Unidentified Dalmanitid from the Devonian of Morocco. This trilobite is complete and wonderfully articulated. It is preserved in a 3-dimensional manner and exhibits very good detail. The large, crescent-shaped eyes are easily seen - and the individual lenses are almost perfectly preserved. The long, broad genal spines were prepared in a free-standing manner. The fossil has excellent, natural coloration and contrasts beautifully with the light-colored matrix. The bug is well showcased on the sculpted plate of limestone. This is a very fine example of this unusual Unidentified Dalmanitid from Morocco.
