This is a very rare US trilobite. It is Paedeumias yorkensis from the Lower Cambrian of Pennsylvania. This specimen was collected by Steve Hess in 1984 in York, PA, not Lancaster, where most of the Kinzers Olenellids were found, and where this species has NEVER been found. The trilobite is complete, only missing the elusive tailspine. This specimen has nice detail preserved and great natural color. This is a fine example of a TRUE Paedeumias yorkensis from the only place they have ever been found, York, Pennsylvania.
