Here is an outstanding U.S. trilobite. This is Presbynileus ibexensis from the Ordovician of Utah. This rare trilobite is almost perfectly prone and wonderfully articulated. Both free cheeks are intact and tightly attached. The 3-dimensional bug has fabulous, natural coloration and great contrast with the grey matrix block. The trilobite is extremely well showcased on the squared plate of limestone. And there is NO REPAIR OR RESTORATION on this fabulous fossil. This trilobite has been part of the DeRosear Collection for over ten years - quite simply, this specimen is about "as good as it gets".
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
