This is an unusual Upper Cambrian trilobite. It is a Pterocephalia norfordi from British Columbia, Canada. This type has a wide, flat brim around the head and tail. The eyes and glabella are small and close together. This type is usually found in concretions, but this specimen is actually preserved on a piece of matrix. This is a very good example of this unusual Upper Cambrian trilobite.
