This is a classic trilobite from Wales. It is a complete Angelina sedgewickii from the Garth Hill Shale of Penrhyndeudraeth, North Wales. This specimen was recently acquired from the JOHN PAGE COLLECTION, a famous collection of unusual British fossils. This trilobite has both free cheeks and genal spines intact, which is extremely unusual. The bug is very inflated and 3-D for this type. The detail of this specimen is also quite nice. This is one of the best examples of this type of trilobite that we have seen.
