Here is a wonderful Canadian trilobite. It is a Wanneria sp. from the Lower Cambrian. This type of trilobite has a large, semi-circular cephalon with sweeping genal spines and relatively small eyes. This prone specimen is unusually well preserved. The bug is tightly articulated and exhibits superb detail. The eyes are easily seen, and the long pleural spines are beautifully displayed. The trilobite has nice color and contrast and is well presented on the natural block of shale. This is an excellent specimen of this uncommon Lower Cambrian trilobite.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
