This is an amazing trilobite plate. There is a complete Gabriceraurus sp. and TWO Eomonorachus intermedius on the block of Platteville Formation limestone. This specimen was recently acquired from the famous DeRosear Collection. The Gabriceraurus is outstretched, which is quite unusual for this type. The bug is very inflated and 3-D and has excellent detail preserved. The two Eomonorachus have a sort of whitish exoskeleton. All three trilobites are wonderfully displayed on the large, rectangular block of limestone that also has brachiopods and DOZENS of trilobite parts and partials. This is one of the most prolific trilobite plates of Platteville Formation fossils we have ever seen.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
