This is a very nice pair of Illaenula vietnamica from the Devonian of China. These trilobites are very 3-dimensional and wonderfully preserved in an outstretched position. The fine detail of the trilobites is easily seen - the individual thoracic segments are clearly defined, and the almost-smooth cephalia and pygidia are quite distinct. The orange and red-colored bugs contrast beautifully with the pink matrix. This is a very colorful multiple example of this unusual Devonian trilobite from China.
