This is an excellent trilobite specimen. It is a Paralejurus tenuistriatus from Morocco. This specimen differs from the more common species of Paralejurus by having genal spines and other less-obvious features. This specimen is easily the largest of this type we have ever seen - usually they are about two inches long. This specimen also has great natural coloration - the head is black, the body is yellow(!), and the tail is brown. The bug is also very 3-D on the matrix. This is a very collectible and displayable example of a Paralejurus tenuistriatus.
This fossil was collected legally, and is also being sold legally.
