This is a wonderful specimen of Pseudolenus ourikaensis from the Cambrian of Morocco. This inflated trilobite is complete with both free cheeks intact and tightly attached, which is highly unusual. The bug exhibits very fine detail - the crescent-shaped eyes are easily seen, and the individual thoracic segments are clearly defined. The large trilobite has gorgeous, natural orangish coloration that contrasts beautifully with the greyish-green matrix. The ancient arthropod is almost perfectly centered on the oval block of shale. This is a very displayable example of this uncommon Cambrian trilobite.
