Here is a large example of a classic US trilobite. It is a complete Phacops rana rana from the Devonian of New York. The 3-dimensional trilobite is nicely articulated, and it exhibits fine detail. The black bug contrasts wonderfully with the grey matrix and is well presented on the squared plate of shale. This is a wonderful, large example of a Phacops rana rana from the famous Penn-Dixie Quarry.
