This is an unusual trilobite from Spain. It is a complete Xiphogonium trautensteinensis from the Middle Devonian layers of Spain. This specimen has very good detail for this type of trilobite. The bug has nice natural color and wonderful contrast against the yellowish matrix. The outstretched trilobite displays well on the small block of rock. This is a very good Xiphogonium trilobite from Spain.
