This is a fabulous multiple example of a rare trilobite. It is a triple Phacops rana norwoodensis from Iowa. This specimen came directly from the famous DeRosear Collection and is one of the best examples ever found. The trilobites are very inflated and 3-D. The distinct bugs have a beautiful creamish-brown colored exoskeleton and great detail preserved. The trilobites are well displayed on the natural block of limestone. This is a rare multiple plate of very hard-to-find US trilobites from the DeRosear Collection.
