This is a fabulous spiny trilobite plate. It is a killer multiple Primaspis crossota plate from Kentucky. This amazing specimen was recently acquired from the famous DeRosear Collection. There are three complete Primaspis on the plate, one of which is preserved ventrally. The detail of these spiny bugs is extraordinary, and the preservation of the shell is just spectacular - this is one of the prettiest plates of Primaspis crossota we've seen. The bugs are aesthetically spaced on the natural plate of shale. A single Primaspis on a rock is great, but three Primaspis on a plate is a special fossil only found in the DeRosear Collection. (Original label included.)
