This is a truly an artistically-prepared trilobite fossil. It is a double Phacops speculator from Morocco. This specimen has been expertly prepared under a microscope in the EXTINCTIONS Preparation Lab here in Colorado. Both trilobites have exqusite detail and amazing preservation. They are both fully inflated and 3-D. Both outstretched Phacops are totally complete and beautifully articulated. The compound eyes are very well-preserved. And both bugs are 100% NATURAL to the plate - no compositing. This is simply one of those special fossils that radiates eternal beauty.
