This is a very uncommon double specimen of Bergamia prima from the Ordovician of Wales. This specimen was recently acquired from the famous John Page Collection. These unusual trilobites are beautifully outstretched and display fine detail. The some of the individual pits and ornamentation of the brim are easily seen. The bug has very good natural color and contrast. The trilobites are nicely showcased on the natural plate of shale. And, best of all, this is a split pair, with both halves offered here together. This is a very collectible pair of Bergamia trilobites from the John Page Collection.
