This is an extremely nice example of a very rare trilobite. It is an excellent Urjungaspis picta from Siberia. This specimen was recently acquired from the famous DeRosear Collection. This trilobite is complete and has both free cheeks intact and tight. The bug is very unusual in that it still has the two long tailspines intact. The fossil is beautifully preserved and nicely showcased on the large, natural matrix plate. We have only seen two examples of this type, and this one is the best we've seen. This is a textbook example of this very rare Cambrian trilobite from the DeRosear Collection.
