This is an excellent Eldredgeops rana rana triple from the Middle Devonian of New York. This specimen was found years ago at the famous Penn-Dixie Quarry and was recently acquired from the famous DeRosear Collection. There are three complete examples of Eldredgeops on the plate. The trilobites are very inflated and exhibit fine detail. The individual facets of the eyes and the pustulose glabellas are extremely well preserved. The black trilobites contrast beautifully with the light grey matrix. The bugs are nicely showcased on the large matrix plate - NATURAL, no compositing. This is a very collectible triple specimen of Eldredgeops from the DeRosear Collection (#341).
