This is not only a beautiful trilobite, it is a rare one at that. It is an exquisite Lobopyge from Morocco. This specimen has great natural coloration - brown exoskeleton with orange pleurons. The detail is amazing (note the tiny pustules easily seen in the second close-up photo). At well over an inch long, it is huge for this type. And it displays as well as any Lobopyge we've ever had. This is a very collectible Lichid trilobite.
