This is a large Elrathia kingi from the Middle Cambrian of Utah. Specimens of this trilobite were drilled by Native Americans for adornment purposes and have been found hundreds of miles away from the site. This fine trilobite is complete and nicely articulated. Both free cheeks are present, and the tiny tail is also preserved. The specimen has been extracted from the surrounding rock so that it is completely free of matrix. This specimen would make a wonderful ''center stone'' for a unique piece of jewelry. This is a large, ''Jewelry Grade'' example of the classic trilobite from the rare ''Red Beds''.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
