This is an extremely displayable plate of trilobites from the Devonian of Morocco. There are TWELVE Gerastos granulosus on this block of limestone. All of the trilobites are natural to the plate - none have been composited. The bugs are 3-dimensionally preserved and exhibit very fine detail. The bugs have their free cheeks intact and are tightly articulated. All of the trilobites are outstretched, which is extremely unusual for a mass mortality plate like this. The trilobites have excellent color and contrast and are beautifully showcased on the sculpted block of dense limestone. This is an amazing multiple plate of these classic Moroccan trilobites captured in a feeding frenzy.
