This is an excellent spiny trilobite. It is a complete Kettneraspis williamsi from Oklahoma. This specimen was found by Steve Hess in 1998. This trilobite is extremely prone and has both free cheeks intact. The large eyes and occipital spine are fully intact, which is quite unusual. The fringes of the free cheeks are also seen, as are the long pleural and pygidial spines. This is a very fine specimen of this spiny US trilobite
