This is a beautiful Middle Cambrian trilobite. It is a split pair Asaphiscus wheeleri from Utah. This specimen was found by Steve Hess in 2005. The trilobite is very large and nicely articulated. The trilobite is beautifully centered on a large, natural matrix plate. And a nice feature is that Steve saved the counterpart of the trilobite - both are offered here together. This is a beautiful example of an unusual split pair Asaphiscus from Utah.
