This is a very rare trilobite. It is a huge Irinia arcuata from Siberia. This specimen was recently acquired from the Famous Sam Stubbs Collection. This trilobite is complete and has both free cheeks tight. The bug is very 3-D and is very unusual in that it still has the thick brown shell exoskeleton intact. The fossil is beautifully preserved and nicely showcased on the natural matrix plate. We have only seen three examples of this type, and this one is the best. This is an excellent example of this very rare Cambrian trilobite from the Stubbs Collection.
