Here is a very displayable specimen of Reedops deckeri from the Haragan Formation of Oklahoma. This extremely inflated trilobite is well preserved and exhibits very good detail. The very fine pustules covering the thick-shelled exoskeleton are intact, and the individual lenses of the large compound eyes are well preserved. The caramel-colored bug contrasts wonderfully with the light-colored matrix. The fossil is beautifully showcased on the large block of Haragan limestone. This is a nice, complete specimen of Reedops from the Devonian of Oklahoma.
