This is a complete specimen of an ULTRA RARE US trilobite. It is a distinct Ceraurinella scofieldi from Iowa. This is one of the only complete examples of this type ever found. The trilobite is well articulated, and the thick shell exoskeleton is very well preserved. The blond coloration of the bug is fully natural - subtle, yet striking. The tail is present, and the long tail spines are easily seen. Although partially enrolled, this is one of the most articulated examples of this type we have seen. It is an extremely collectible example of this rare trilobite from the Midwestern United States
