This is a wonderful spiny trilobite. It is a fabulous Kettneraspis williamsi from the Haragan Formation of Oklahoma. This specimen was found and prepared by Bob Carroll in 1999. This outstretched trilobite is wonderfully articulated and exhibits excellent detail. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The long genal spines and the thin pleural spines are beautifully displayed. The protruding eyes are easily seen, and the ''fringes'' of the free cheeks are clearly defined. The inflated bug has great color and contrast and is well centered on the semi-rectangular plate of matrix. This is a fantastic specimen of Kettneraspis from Oklahoma - one of the best ever found.
