This is an unusual trilobite from the DeRosear Collection. It is an uncommon Modocia sp. from Utah. Doug acquired this specimen in 1986, and it has been in his collection ever since. The trilobite is complete and wonderfully intact. The free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The bug has fine detail - the exoskeleton is very easily seen. The trilobite is well showcased on the semi-squared matrix plate. This is a very nice example of this unusual Cambrian trilobite from the DeRosear Collection (Number 366).
