This is a VERY RARE grouping of US trilobites. It is a TRIPLE Homotelus florencevillensis from Iowa. This type is MUCH rarer than the Homotelus found in Oklahoma. There was one small pocket of these bugs found years ago, and it was quickly dug out. These trilobites are large and nicely inflated. They are all facing the same general direction and are so close together they almost touch! The bugs are nicely showcased on a large limestone block, which makes for a great display. The caramel-colored trilobites contrast beautifully with the buff-colored matrix. This is a very uncommon multiple plate of trilobites from the Midwestern United States.
