This is a rare US trilobite. It is a complete Alokistocare harrisi from the Elrathia Layers of Millard County, Utah. This trilobite was recently acquired from an old collection. The bug has both free cheeks and tiny tail intact, which is quite unusual. The thick shell exoskeleton is covered with small bumps and pustules. The black-colored trilobite is ''loose'' - totally free of matrix. This is a very fine example of this multi-segmented trilobite from Utah.
